Leadly: Our Marketing Agency Services

Leadly is a performance marketing and lead generation agency. We plan and run advertising, creative, SEO, CRM, email and SMS campaigns for our business clients.

When we act for a client. If you respond to a campaign we run for one of our clients (for example by completing a form on a client's landing page), that client is usually the data controller for your information and we process it on their behalf as a data processor, under a written agreement and only on their instructions. The client's own privacy policy explains how they use your data, and you should contact them to exercise your rights. Where we act as a controller in our own right for a client campaign, we will tell you at the point of collection.

Business contacts. If you contact Leadly, or we contact you about our services, we use your business contact details to respond, to manage our relationship with you and, where permitted by law, to send you information about our services. You can ask us to stop at any time.

Website visitors. With your consent, the Leadly website uses analytics, advertising and visitor identification tools (such as Google Ads, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Pruuv and Leadsy) to measure our marketing and to understand which organisations are interested in our services. See our Cookie Policy for details.

ViewThru Instant Search Alert

ViewThru includes an Instant Search Alert feature. This is a regular monitoring service that checks (through soft searches with our Credit Reference Agency partners) whether any other authorised claims company or law firm has recently carried out a similar motor-finance-related search in your name.

If a new search is detected, ViewThru immediately alerts the claims company you are working with. They may then contact you to explain what has happened and confirm whether you have engaged another firm. This helps protect you from accidentally signing up with more than one claims company, being charged twice for the same work, or becoming confused about who is acting on your behalf.

Soft searches do not affect your credit score and are only visible to you and the Credit Reference Agency. We use this information solely to support responsible claims handling and to help ensure you stay in control of your claim.

Failing to Provide Personal Data

Where we need to collect personal data by law, or to provide a service you have asked for, and you do not provide it, we may not be able to provide that service (for example, a credit search or a loan introduction). We will tell you if this is the case at the time.

Marketing, Advertising and Promotions

With your explicit consent, we may use your contact information (name, email address and phone number) to send you marketing communications (email/SMS) about:

  • Services offered by other brands operated by TAL Marketing Group Ltd, including Leadly, swoppa, Loaneo and ViewThru;
  • Services offered by M.R. Consumer Services Ltd T/A Mis-sold Expert (www.mis-soldexpert.co.uk);
  • Offers, promotions or services from our affiliated partners, such as Submission Technology, and other offers where TAL Marketing Group Ltd acts as a lead generator.

TAL Marketing Group Ltd also acts as a marketing agency and lead generator for M.R. Consumer Services Ltd. We may contact you for the purpose of identifying, assessing or progressing a potential mis-sold vehicle finance claim on your behalf, including any potential Discretionary Commission Arrangement (DCA) claim.

Where you have previously used a similar service from us and not opted out, we may also send you marketing about our own similar services.

Lawful Basis: Consent under Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR. We will only use or share your data for these purposes where you have opted in. Providing consent is optional and is not required to use our services.

You can withdraw your consent or opt out at any time by:

  • Updating your preferences in your account (where available, e.g. swoppa);
  • Clicking the unsubscribe link in our emails or following the opt-out instructions in our SMS; or
  • Contacting us using the details in this policy.

Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before consent was withdrawn.
