Life at Leadly

Why join and build with us?

  1. You’ll build real things.

Pruuv, swoppa and ViewThru all started as problems we couldn’t stop thinking about. Your ideas can go the same way.

  2. You’ll grow fast.

When the business doubles, so do the opportunities. Plenty of our leaders started in very different seats.

  3. You’ll actually enjoy it.

Most “culture” is a ping-pong table and a beer tap nobody uses. That’s not culture. That’s a gimmick. Real culture lives in the small things, so that’s where we invest.

We built our office around how people actually feel at work. The lighting is warm, so your eyes can relax. The kit is ergonomic, so your body can too. That leaves your brain free for the heavy lifting. Add free breakfast, your birthday off, hybrid and work-from-anywhere time, and a running club, and you’ve got a place people actually want to be.

But mostly, it’s the people. The developer who’ll drop everything to fix your landing page at 4pm on a Friday. The designer who turns a rough brief into something you’d actually stop scrolling for. Ellie, our People & Ops Co-Ordinator, who makes Good Vibes Days the most competitive date in the calendar. And Dimos, our in-house barista, who’ll know your coffee order by week two.

That’s culture. And it’s why Leadly works.

General application

Head of Commercial

CommercialHybrid, 2 days in Manchester
A colleague laughing in the Leadly office

Purpose of the Role

Own and drive commercial growth across Leadly’s core Agency business and ViewThru, setting the strategy, building the team and personally closing new business from day one.

This isn’t simply a senior sales management role. You’ll take ownership of the commercial direction of the business, working alongside the Founder and Group Director to challenge thinking, identify new opportunities and shape Leadly’s next phase of growth.

You’ll have GTM, Leadly’s in-house automated outreach platform, as a powerful tool to help generate pipeline, but your success will come from your own commercial instincts, relationships and leadership. We’re looking for someone who brings their own playbook and uses every tool available to build something bigger than what exists today.

What You’ll Get

  • Real ownership of a high-impact growth function
  • A genuine seat at the leadership table, with the opportunity to influence the direction and next phase of Leadly’s growth
  • A fast-moving, no-corporate-fluff environment
  • Hybrid working — 2 days per week in our central Manchester office
  • No ceiling on earning potential, with uncapped commission directly rewarding commercial growth
  • Good Vibes Days — fully paid days off for wellbeing, growth and team connection
  • Extra holidays for service milestones plus your birthday off
  • Work From Anywhere Policy

Person Specification

Essential

  • Strong agency background within Martech or Adtech, with genuine experience selling agency services and a strong understanding of agency commercial models
  • Proven experience operating at senior leadership/SLT level within a commercially driven, high-growth business
  • Demonstrable experience owning commercial strategy, revenue targets, forecasting and growth plans
  • Track record of personally winning and closing significant new business, alongside leading and developing a commercial team
  • Evidence of building or scaling high-performing sales functions, rather than simply inheriting and operating an established model
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to connect sales performance to margin, profitability, resource and wider business objectives
  • Comfortable operating with significant autonomy and challenging and influencing founders, directors and C-suite stakeholders
  • Able to operate both strategically and hands-on — setting the direction while remaining close enough to the market to personally drive revenue
  • Strong executive presence, commercial judgement and people leadership capability

Desirable

  • Familiarity with sales automation or outreach tooling — happy to make full use of GTM as part of a wider commercial toolkit
  • Experience across both start-up and mid-size company environments — comfortable building processes from scratch as well as operating within a more established structure
  • Experience selling in financial services, fintech, insurance or another regulated environment, given the FCA/SMCR context
  • Experience taking a business or commercial function through a significant period of scale, transformation or revenue growth

If you’re an experienced commercial leader who still loves winning business, but wants the opportunity to build the strategy, team and commercial function around you, we’d love to hear from you.

Product Owner

ProductTwo brand-new products
A colleague smiling at her desk in the Leadly office

About the role

We’re looking for a Product Owner to join us at a really exciting stage of Leadly’s growth.

This isn’t a role where you’ll simply manage tickets and chase deadlines. You’ll be right at the centre of two brand-new products, helping shape how they work, look and feel, and playing a genuine role in bringing them to life.

You’ll sit across Product, Marketing, Compliance, Sales and Leadership, helping turn ideas into great products and ensuring everyone is moving in the same direction. You’ll have the opportunity to influence what we build, how we build it and how these products evolve as the agency continues to grow.

It’s a chance to join an ambitious, energetic and genuinely fun team, work alongside some incredibly talented people, and have a real impact on the next chapter of Leadly.

Why This Role Is Exciting

You’ll be joining at a point where we’re building a new product from the ground up.

That means you’ll have a real opportunity to:

  • Help shape the look, feel and user experience of our new products
  • Turn ideas and business requirements into clear, actionable product tasks
  • Work closely with marketing, technical and creative teams to bring products to life
  • Help define priorities and influence what gets built next
  • See your work go from an idea → to a product → to something that directly supports our growth
  • Help establish the processes, structure and ways of working that allow our products to scale
  • Be involved in some of the most exciting initiatives happening across the agency

We want someone who is excited by that level of ownership. Someone who wants to get stuck in, have opinions, solve problems and make things happen.

Core Responsibilities

Product & Delivery Oversight

  • Own and maintain task flow within Linear (tickets, prioritisation, updates)
  • Translate business and product ideas into structured delivery tasks
  • Help shape and prioritise the product roadmap
  • Work closely with internal teams to turn ideas into great product experiences
  • Follow up on key actions and ensure deadlines are met
  • Support landing page updates and form / tracking changes
  • Coordinate reporting dashboard builds and data visibility
  • Help ensure our new products continue to evolve based on business needs, customer feedback and performance

Cross-Department Alignment

You’ll be the operational bridge between Marketing, Product, Sales and Compliance.

You’ll:

  • Ensure everyone understands weekly priorities
  • Align campaign and product requirements with operational capacity
  • Help teams communicate effectively and stay aligned
  • Support content creators with compliance requirements and onboarding
  • Make sure good ideas don’t get lost between departments

Firefighting & Issue Resolution

Things move quickly here, and occasionally things break!

You’ll help:

  • Resolve urgent data discrepancies
  • Support media buyers with operational blockers
  • Manage day-to-day technical issues across forms, tracking and domains
  • Respond quickly to leadership escalations
  • Work out solutions when things don’t go to plan

We’re looking for someone who enjoys figuring things out rather than waiting for someone else to fix them.

Interested? Tell us a little about yourself and what you’d want to build.

This person will help strengthen the day-to-day finance function, improve efficiency, and create more capacity for higher-value planning, forecasting, and reporting work.

Ideal Background

  • Familiarity with cloud finance tools and modern finance workflows
